Area in Atlantic Ocean Has 40% Chance of Development

An area of low pressure known as 96L, which is just off the coast of Africa has been given a 40% chance of developing into a tropical system in the next 5 days and a 30% chance of development within the next 2 days.  Looking at the models this system will likely at least become a tropical storm within the next week or so.  It’s way to early to know when or if this system will affect land, but we will continually monitor this system and bring you daily updates on this system and future tropical systems.  Please be sure to check back often and also download our Atlantic Hurricane Tracker on Android and Apple devices.  Below we have provided useful links as well as our map with the location of this system.  Thanks for making us your #1 source for severe weather.
