Tropical Storm Bonnie in Atlantic to Affect Carolinas

Tropcial Storm Bonnie formed this afternoon just off the coast of the Southeastern US. The storm is a weak tropical storm wind winds near 40 mph. The rain bands are already affecting parts of the Carolina’s and Georgia. The biggest threat with this storm will be rip currents and some localized flooding as some areas could get 4-6 inches of rain. This storm will likely peak lately today with winds between 40-50 mph. This storm will continue to bring rain to the Carolina’s throughout the weekend and into the beginning of next week as this storm will be slow moving.
