Early models have been showing a chance for flurries early next week, which could be the first for many areas of North Carolina though many saw flurries this past week. This is too far out to know if you will see some flurries or just rain with this system. We really like to be in a 5 day interval for winter storms and forecasting and this is over 7 days out so if something more materializes out of this system we will be the first to let you know. As of Monday morning this system looks more like it will just be rain for the Carolina’s though this cold trend will continue at least until the weekend with day time temperatures staying below 50 degrees.
