The severe weather threat will continue today for part of the Central United States with the threat today focusing on Texas. The highest threat level today by the SPC in “Enhanced” across the major Texas cities of Austin and San Antonio. This area will likely see the chance for damaging winds, severe hail and possibly some tornadoes. The SPC is showing a significant chance for damaging hail with a lower threat of damaging winds and tornadoes, therefore the main threat to watch out for today will be large damaging hail though some damaging winds and tornadoes can’t be ruled out.
