Tropical Depression Forms in Atlantic

Tropical Depression Seven formed in the Atlantic Ocean Tuesday evening and is currently moving northwest with sustained winds of 35 MPH. Going into mid-week the storm is expected to move west with a slight increase in forward speed. Strengthening is forecast over the coming days followed by some weakening due to wind shear and dry air. This storm is still a long ways from the US coast, so we will continue to monitor and provide updates as needed over the coming days. This storm will likely becoming a Tropical Storm on Wednesday morning and is expected to remain as a tropical storm for the next 5 days.
