Severe Weather Threat Returns This Weekend

The severe weather threat is returning this weekend and into early next week. The best chance for severe weather will be on Sunday.  The areas to be affected on Sunday will be Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska.  The chances for hail, wind and tornadoes will all likely be the highest in these areas over the weekend on Sunday.  The chance for severe weather in these areas on Sunday will be “enhanced”.  The severe weather threat for today will cover a large portion of the US with a “Marginal” threat, which will mainly be scattered severe thunderstorms with a higher focus on areas of West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska and Colorado for severe hail and damaging winds with low chance for a tornado.  Going into Monday, areas of Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Missouri will have a “slight” chance of severe weather, which is slightly above average.  The main threats on Monday will be severe hail and damaging winds with a low tornado threat.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook and our apps available on Android and Apple devices.  Thanks for making us your #1 source for severe weather.
